The overall purpose of the job is to provide technical IT support to the employees in line with Bosch Corporate Information procedures and to assist in the smooth running of the IT Helpdesk department.

Role Responsibilities:
- Receiving and logging helpdesk telephone calls and emails
- Installing and setting up hardware and software
- Resolving customers IT problems via telephone, remote control or in person
- Maintaining asset register list
- Collecting IT deliveries from Goods inward and distributing the goods
- Assisting in the roll out of new IT procedures
- Prioritising workload to ensure that any outstanding issues are resolved
- To take agreed responsibility for specified areas on IT support functions and technical issues, including the introduction of new technologies
- To inform other members of the company in areas of specialist knowledge
- To maintain a documented technical knowledge base

- Good practical Knowledge of IT hardware, components and software
- Ability to prioritise
- Good telephone manner
- An analytical and logical approach
- Attention to detail
- Good communicator at all levels
- Enthusiastic and hardworking
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Must be part way through an IT related course at Degree level
