Human Resources Training Intern (2304)
The overall purpose of the job is to administer all elements of training from booking, control and evaluation derived from the Annual Appraisals as well as ad-hoc training requests. Additional administration work is involved to support staff communications. Assist in the smooth running of HRL3 activities.

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the induction process for new starters
- Organise and control training booking and systems for training including the “start up” and “close down” of training courses
- Take responsibility to ensure all equipment and materials needed for internal and external training events is available and in working order (e.g. projectors, audio equipment etc)
- Support the organisation of other events organised by Training Department (e.g. Leadership Seminar, Communications events)
- Contribute to achievement of departmental targets
- Liaising with internal and external trainers and venue providers
- Support the distribution of communication material for Worcester and off site employees
- Manage the collation of the annual employee appraisal returns for the business and report statistics
- Organise Career Advancement Discussion (CADs) and Personal Development Discussions (PDDs) as required
- Enter and maintain information contained within the “Training Tracker” database
- Log all attendance on training courses and communications events within computer system using SAP
- Raise purchase orders in advance of committing to expenditure
- Process Invoices through SAP and BACs payment
- Ensure all training organised by training has the appropriate audit trail
- Organise the purchase of miscellaneous items such as taxis, flowers etc.
- Organise flights and hotel bookings as required
- Respond quickly and effectively to internal customer queries
- Efficiently manage and maintain filing of training documentation
- Other tasks and projects as delegated by management
The Person:
- Currently at University in the second year of degree
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Good attention to detail, decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate confidently with personnel from all levels of the business
- Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
- Able to present themselves well when communicating with customers and suppliers
- Flexibility of approach towards working hours
