Shared Services Purchasing Department- Warndon, Worcester

The overall purpose of the job is to provide support for Bosch’s UK Commodity Sourcing Team (SSC/PUR) by participating in some sourcing projects within the team. Also helping with data collection and analysis and admin work.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support Shared Services Purchasing team as described in Overall Purpose above including support on Benchmarking, Logistics and Marketing projects.
• Internal customer liaison & inter-site liaison. 
• Some (limited) supplier contact.

The Person:

• Essential; background with a commercial bias; purchasing, finance.
• Computer literate with a good knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook
• Good attention to detail, decision making and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate confidently with personnel from all levels of the business
• Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
• Able to present themselves well when communicating with customers and suppliers
• Flexibility of approach towards working hours
