New Technologies Intern (2099)
R&D Department- Warndon, Worcester
The overall purpose of the job is to work as part of a team to carry out testing of appliances to ensure compliance with the relevant directives and standards to achieve product specification.

Role Responsibilities:
- Follow the test procedures and safety procedures laid down in the department and company handbooks and the standards given
- Write test reports from the results gained and discuss the findings with development engineers and managers as required
- File test reports within the departmental folder
- Assist development engineer with the completion of technical tasks
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to the project teams and any initiatives within the company
The Person:
We are looking for an undergraduate or graduate for either 6 months or preferably 12 months.
- Team Player – good inter-relationship skills
- Willingness to learn
- Customer focus – right first time, diligent, accurate
- Structured approach to work, ability to summarise information
- Comfortable to work without immediate supervision during periods of absence of manager
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
