Intern for Design (2004)
R&D Department- Warndon, Worcester
The overall purpose of the job is to initially assist and support the Design team and after the induction stage to work on a special stand alone task. The Intern period is expected to be about one year. This will involve working using the 3D NX4 CAD modeling software. It is anticipated that a full working model will be produced in order to evaluate the design.

Role Responsibilities:
- To assist and support Design Engineers
- Work on small projects and parts of projects
The Person:
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of the Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook
- CAD knowledge
- Good understanding of English
- Currently at University studying Engineering in the second year of degree or higher
- Good attention to detail, decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate confidently with personnel from all levels of the business
- Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team
- Able to present themselves well when communicating with customers and suppliers
- Flexibility of approach towards working hours
