Development Manager - Southern Region

You will have a responsibility for key accounts
within a long standing scheme used to help promote growth and development of
businesses in the one-off private sector in the southern region through
marketing, training and service.

Responsibilities:
- To work closely with external sales to:
Maximise the agreed
business plan
Communication of all
relevant topics
To focus on specific
areas to boost sales
- Communicate effectively the needs and demands of the customer back
to head office.
- Develop and establish sustainable energy products within the
scheme.
- Take forward ideas/new initiatives suggested by Key Accounts.
- Promote relevant training courses.
- Liaise with the shared communications team based at head office.
- To promote and encourage take up of promotions and other
packages/offers from Head Office.
- To achieve sales targets and objectives.
- To attend Regional and Head Office meetings as required, including
presentations.
- To prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
- To maintain and update all showrooms.
- To increase public awareness of the individual Key Accounts members
in the area.
- To monitor and handle consumer complaints.
- To work within budgets and maximise sales growth.
Person:
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of the
Microsoft packages including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Good attention to detail, decision making and
problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate confidently with
personnel from all levels of the business
- Able to use own initiative with the ability to
work on their own as well as part of a team
- Able to present themselves well when
communicating with customers and suppliers
- Flexibility of approach towards working hours
- You should be self-motivated, comfortable with
working on your own initiative and as a part of the team.
- Emphasis is on helping small to medium size
businesses grow through marketing initiatives.
- Located in a central position within the
southern region to cover key accounts for the entire area.
